Mark A. Moore is an editor, writer, and cartographer. He is the author of "The Jan & Dean Record" (McFarland 2016) and "The Old North State at War: The North Carolina Civil War Atlas (NCDNCR 2015). Moore has published books, articles, and maps relating to Civil War history, including the Battle of Bentonville, Fort Fisher, and other topics. His maps have have appeared in works of history published by W. W. Norton & Company, Da Capo, Savas, Stackpole, University of North Carolina Press, University Press of Kentucky, University Press of Kansas, Kent State University Press, Harlan Davidson, North & South Magazine, Hallowed Ground Magazine, and many others.
